Wan Young Choi was originally a pocket billiard player, but after a forced interval due to military service, he took up 3-cushion instead. With a distinctive style and stance, and strong mental capability, he worked his way up in the hardest discipline of our game. Choi made a strong impression during the 2017 World Cup in Porto where he made the last 8, and he repeated that feat during the 2017 Verhoeven Open in New York, and (again) in the Porto World Cup of 2018.
